Who we are
We are a group of academic and building professionals dedicated to bringing innovation to wood construction.
Our Mission Statement
Our objective is to provide a building technology that enables small groups of unskilled laborers with the ability to build their own structures. Our vision is domestic (United States) and global. In the future we will provide products that are geared to the do-it-yourselfers who want to build garages, workshops, utility sheds or home offices in their backyards. Globally we work with government and non-profit organizations to supply basic housing to disaster victims and low-income families.
How Does the RTA System Work?
Step 1
Together we determine the structural, economic, and sociological requirements for the RTA structure.
Step 2
We design the structure on a computer and use a computer program to insure that the building is strong and safe.
Step 3
We fabricate the building components at the factory.
Step 4
We ship the building components to the site ready for assembly.
Step 5
We provide assistance and training to the unskilled labor force that will assemble the buildings.
Step 6
We inspect the final structures to insure that they provide safe, comfortable housing.
