F.A.Q.
What is the ready-to-assemble (RTA) building System?
The RTA building system is a kit of building components that are manufactured in a factory and shipped to a building site ready for assembly. For more information see our products page.
How does the RTA building system work?
The building components of the RTA system are fabricated by pressing the RTA metal connector between two pieces of lumber. The building components are attached to each other by bolting the RTA connectors together.
How long and how many people does it take to assemble a RTA structure?
The frame of a 16 x 24 foot building can be assembled by two people in less than one day.
Does the RTA system require any special tools or skill?
No. The RTA system is designed so that small crews of unskilled laborers equipped with a hammer, wrench and ladder can quickly assemble the RTA frame.
How safe and strong is a RTA structure?
Extensive testing has been conducted on the RTA system and a computer modeling program has been developed to predict the performance of RTA buildings. Therefore, RTA systems are engineered to satisfy the strength and safety requirements of the customer.
How do I purchase a RTA building?
